Paragraphing is one of the single most important skills that you can develop as a writer. It not only, obviously, impacts the flow of your
writing but also helps you structure your ideas in the
big and the medium term. And there's no hard and fast
rule for a paragraph length. I like to use short, punchy paragraphs either in the middle or at the
end of my writing, to kind of snap and catch the
reader's attention, either to signal a
shift in what I'm saying or to make a point.
